So, for the show I am working on for directing is of course little shop of horrors. I wanted to create cast t-shirts because I am just that campy. I was designing shirts with a company that I had used before. However, because I only needed a small amount, they would have been really expensive. I was reading my Cosmo magazine... which I read cover to cover religiously every month. I noticed an advertisement on the side of on of the pages. It was for an online company that made personalized t-shirts. the add said that they had personalized shirts starting at 10$ a piece for just one. Granted, the picture that was int eh add was of a girl in a personalized tank and thong that said "Dave's Valentine" but it said they had shirts too. I did end up going to the web sight and between my cast and I we ordered over 200$ worth of shirts. (you can see them above.) I think it is i interesting becaue I have always blown off magasine advertisemnts mostly becuase I dont read magasines, (witht eh exception of cosmo.) Therefore, I always assumed that they were a waist of time and magazine space. TV was the only type of advertising that I thought was effective. But, just from one small advertisement a company got 200$ worth of business from just me. Never mind all the other people who have seen it.
