little shop of horrors, the movie

I am directing a show this semester. It is a condensed version of the musical of little shop of horrors the musical. I could not be more excited for the rehearsals to start. (they start tonight!!) I have focused on the fall and repentance process that Seymour goes through with his interactions with the plant. The plant is being played by a 6 foot girl who has crazy black hair and weights 102 lbs. I am so stoked. To prepare for rehearsals I watched the film last night. I cant even tell you how bad the acting was in the movie. I am stoked because I think that the actors who are playing my characters are going to be much more talented than Steve Martin, and rick Moranis. they were awful! However, after watching the film, i realize some things that I DON'T want to do. I don't want Audrey to be stupid and trashy. I want her to have a normal voice that dosnt
